Anyone here have a Jitterbug phone? Or know someone who has one? I have some questions....

I know, I know, it's a phone for 90-year-olds.....but I really hate complicated phones. I'm a photographer with a fancy Nikon and I use a computer every day, but those damn smart phones make me want to throw them against a cement wall. I just want a phone for talking! Plus I want the battery to not run down in one frikkin' day!
1. Do Jitterbug batteries last a lot longer?
2. Are the service plans decent, with no ugly surprises?
3. If Jitterbugs are bad, what else can I do for an easy-to-use phone?

I have a Tracfone, pay as you go. You can buy minutes, or months of service, or both. They have several different phones on thier website www.tracfone.com

If you do not use your minutes that you purchased within a certain amount of time, you lose them.

I pay $21 a month. It is a very easy-to-use service. If you will see my post below, you will see that I was not satisfied with Tracfone.

It's easy and with big numbers for the fifty-plus ones of us with bad eyes. The customer service is superb. Their plans are very clear, sensible and easy to understand.
