Bolivia: 30 Cocaine Factories Destroyed
La Paz, Jan 8 (Prensa Latina) Bolivia''s Special Force against Drug Trafficking (FELCN) destroyed 30 cocaine factories last week in the departments of Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, the entity informed through a bulletin today.
FELCN troops, supported by the Rural Patrol Mobile Unit, dismantled crafted industries and seized 885 liters of rich water in the process of making the drug and more than 47 kilograms of humid cocaine.
According to the institution, these anti-drug actions, carried out on January 4 and 5, are part of the Operation Condor and were carried out in the 25th April Union of central Bulo Bulo in Cochabamba and central San Germán in Santa Cruz. Six Bolivian citizens were apprehended, reported the FELCN.
In another operation at the checkpoint of San Carlos, Santa Cruz, anti-drug officers intercepted a vehicle, without a driver and laden with more than 10 kilograms of cocaine.
Likewise, at the International Airport of El Alto, La Paz, the anti-drug personnel, while checking packages to Barcelona, Spain, found in two cardboard boxes containing ten handicrafts in the shape of macaws, containing the same drug, and totaling more than 21 kilograms.
