Venezuela, Ecuador develop plan to shore up oil prices
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, and Ecuador, Xavier Lasso, informed on Thursday that their governments were developing a common plan "in defense of oil prices."
Following a meeting in Caracas, Rodríguez noted that the joint strategy "seeks to advocate the stance of oil producing countries that have been hit by the drop in oil prices," highlighted news agency DPA.
"From imperial centers, oil policy has been used to attack Russia, Venezuela, our countries, our progressive governments," Rodríguez remarked.
"We have designed a plan and soon we will present it to the international market," she added.
