Venezuela Marks Chávez’s Birthday, Maduro Says ‘Little Bird’ Returned

http://inserbia.info/today/2014/07/venezuela-marks-chavezs-birthday-maduro-says-little-bird-returned/

CARACAS, Venezuela – To mark what would have been the 60th birthday of former leader Hugo Chávez, Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro planned several commemorative events that were marked by another mention of the odd “bird” through which Chávez channeled his energy.

Maduro is no stranger to odd statements and in the past, these statements have been deemed to be emotionally stirring and inspiring by supporters while the opposition has characterized them as a joke, attempts at pandering to the public and some even questioned Maduro’s mental health.

-----------------
This Monday, the 60th birthday of Chávez, Maduro found himself in Sabaneta once again, this time in the central town square called ‘Plaza Hugo Chávez.’ Maduro, once again, found himself speaking about the little bird.

“I was approached again by a little bird. He spoke to me and told me not to tell anyone but I will tell you today. The bird told me that our beloved Comandante is happy,” Maduro claimed.

A question for the DU chavistas, do little birds talk to you too?

The Kim-family has co-opted the ancient korean mythology to placate themselves as some kind of "divinely blessed" rulers, essentially declaring themselves to be a noble family by heavenly authority.

I think, Maduro is trying the same: He's trying to create a religious or mythological meme that can later be used as propaganda.
