that's NOT democracy.

Caucuses are the relic of an earlier, more naïve epoch.

and the jury voted 4-3 to leave it! I was stunned by that result. I guess he got booted by another means.

A clear example of the BS strategy.

They claim he's on par with Gandhi and Mandela, and talk about how proud they are to be alive at the same time as him.

Now, I don't know about you, but I get the heebie-jeebies when I see that kind of talk.

Not in their echo chamber of exultation, I guess.

I expect to see genuflecting and prostration at BS's revival meetings any day now. Perhaps speaking-in-tongues and laying-on-of-hands, too. LOL!

There are people who want quick and easy solutions by a savior.

There is no savior.

Sanders is a mere mortal; he does not own Congress.

So, yes there is hero worship.
But, enthusiastic support of a hero/savior is short term. It does not last.

Saw someone use the term "Holy Bern"/

They wonder why we are not convinced by the whole of it. As an atheist reminds me of people trying to convert me, while they are so sure of God, or Allah, or Jupiter, and so on....

Or a guy trying to convince me of dating, or sex, but I am not buying, but they keep insisting.

Just something wrong... and not convincing at all... the opposite... you just want to run far away.

Who has a right to what I consider in my brain? Who the heck they think they are?

We are all free agents. Bullying should be anathema to the human condition.

HRC GROUP IS AWESOME!!!

I get goose bumps just looking at you. I try to watch every rally. I feel driven by your words. You are Astonishingly pure in your motives. Your peace is felt across the world. We will not give up. We will rise to do what's right.

~~~~~~~~~~
Bernie, from where I was standing yesterday in Madison, you looked Olympian. You have done something incredibly profound. I'm not much of a religious man by any stretch. But, I promise you this; the almighty has smiled on you. Take it from one who knows. I am your man. I dream of the day I can finally call you Mr. President. Take it all the way my friend, we are with you. Never quit and never give up. Keep fighting the good fight. Semper Fidelis (former Marine)
And then the Holy Spirit, in the form of a finch, landed on Bernie's podium on Good Friday.
Sigh. Their awakening from this daydream will not be a pleasant one.
Some Sanders followers are desperately unhappy and angry people who need something or someone to believe in. Some among these are atheists looking for an economic messiah. They think Sanders is the new Eugene Debs.
As I have said before, no candidate walks on water. All candidates are flawed human beings. We have to do the best we can with that reality. All change for the better has to be reality-based.
