Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumSanders rally chant: 'She's a liar!' until they cut them off
The crowd booed loudly at first, then cheered when the sound cut out. The sound soon returned and Clinton was drowned out by further boos when she said "I'm a progressive who gets things done."
It escalated from there: Chants of "She's a liar!" took over the room before the campaign just entirely shut off the stream, cutting away from MSNBC entirely.

(3,179 posts)Are they competing with trump supporters for the nasty award?

(90,645 posts)Trumps a fascist and Bernie's a socialist, and I know very well which type suits me better. But the fact remains the two of them have acquired very angry supporters who are convinced they've been done wrong and their leader is a savior who can fix it all.
JURY: This is just a post-caucus analysis. IN NO WAY am I saying Sanders and Trump are equivalent.

(15,438 posts)I am totally appalled by their immature behavior - like a bunch of schoolyard bullies.
And Hillary supporters have been nothing but gracious.

(92,150 posts)but there is a pattern here. The Planned Parenthood Facebook spamming because of their endorsement of Hillary. The spamming of Al Franken's Facebook page because of his endorsement of Hillary, all point to a systemic pattern of bullying and harassment of people who do not agree with you.
This behavior does NOT come from the Hillary camp, nor did it come from the O'Malley camp, and that observation in and of itself supports your thesis

(67 posts)I want an evolution not a revolution!!
pandr32
(11,579 posts)Revolutions have always been radical and often the leaders wound up as tyrants or dictators. The exception was in the U.S. because there was already a Continental Congress.
An "evolution" involves change that isn't radical and the changes would be reasoned and vetted ones that make it through Congress. The hope would be, of course, a Congress that functions, but at least in HC's case we have a coalition of Democrats--and we can add more as we go and the Republican Party "devolves"--they will start losing their seats.
If only we could get the media to quit selling itself out to the rich and to wealthy advertisers, and instead return to journalism and real news.
