Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumThe veil is being lifted
Some of the Clinton haters have a new hero: Carly Fiorina. One is busy trumping up Fiorina's leadership ability as a CEO. Now we know the excuses about Clinton being too corporate and neoloiberal were bullshit from the start. No one who resents corporate influence and the power of the 1 percent prefers a Republican CEO to a Democrat who has worked for liberal issues for decades.
In another thread a few days ago, a poster expressed great alarm that Clinton was appealing to women and "minorities," which he predicted would be the death of the middle class. You know, cause you have to be white, straight, and male to be middle-class.
The advantage of these threads is that these people are showing their true colors. Clearly their opposition to Clinton as too centrist and not left enough is hollow when they attack her from the right and even promote Republicans over her.

(30,058 posts)to moderate. Bernie s too far left and identifies as independent socialist. The RW is working overtime trying to discredit Hillary, they don't have anyone to match her. I those who claim Hillary is a centrists would accept her record they would know she has long fought for middle class people.

(41,832 posts)really didn't know Fiorina was a right-wing Republican.
I feel the person is so entrenched in their Hillary hate that they were grasping for anything.
Reading the thread it looks to me that they realized the mistake.
Some DUers just follow the crowd. They really don't know much about what real politics/election politics is all about.
For example those who say it would be good to lose, or run a real progressive in a red district.

(53,031 posts)Have a look at her response to my posts. That doesn't read like someone who realizes they made a mistake about a candidate's party affiliation.
