How paranoid are anti-Clinton DUers?

I'm starting this thread not to drag flamefests and feuds into this group but to point out the comic relief going on in GD right now.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025860047

Starting at post #23, several members suddenly transform into Detectives, analyzing polling data and calling pollsters to argue about their polling methods.

Quite the floor show.

The hatred of Hillary on DU does not reflect the opinion of Democrats outside DU.

Some people need to get out more.

... of the term 'disparage.'

When Clinton is disparaged, she's called a 'corporate whore,' a 'DINO' and a 'Republican.' Scientific polling is denied, people misuse the word 'dynasty,' and factually-challenged charges like she's a member of a religious cult are tossed around.

When Sanders is 'disparaged,' people ask how a self-described socialist can win given the history of that word.

Comparing the two is false equivalency.

3. This is why I won't start a thread on Hillary in GD.

I like a large number of the posters here who dislike her and I hate to get into it with them.

posts who say if Hillary gets the nomination they will absolutely not vote for her.

That type of rhetoric in my view has no place on DU

Mmmm hmmm

Well, not to perpetuate a non-existent flame-fest
but calling out a member (post 23) and then
running to a group with protected status
seems curious, and less than intellectually honest.

Feel free to move into open waters to continue
an intellectually honest discussion "wolfie"

7. It appears to be difficult for many to wrap their arms around the numbers Hillary is polling.

She has experience in many areas, has been informed in the last few years on security details. She is on the left in her stand on the issues, something many on the far left deny, but facts are facts. She has championed civil rights for long time, she has been working on improving womens rights.

It's many things. I suppose some are sincere, but many are just naive or politically dumb.
Some don't even know her stances or votes on a number of issues.
Some just want to join the "crowd" and go along with group-think.

There is a lot of hyperbole and hand-wringing. Then there are outright lies.

Obama gets the same treatment.
