Don’t you hate it when you drunk dial the worst possible person? Hopefully you’ve never been jailed for it like one man from Columbia, Tenn.
The 67-year-old man, who emergency responders didn't identify, called 911 twice between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, said Columbia police, and he wasn’t a first-time caller.
Columbia police records show someone from a residence at the 600 block of East 11th Street called 911 at least nine times since July 21. Most of the calls were hang-ups.
During one of the calls Saturday night, the man asked if he could have a ride to the store.
“Hey, you want to take me to the store?” the man asked the dispatcher in a recording of the conversation.
