Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo Leads To Positive Marijuana Tests In Newborns

Time Magazine reported yesterday that certain baby soaps and shampoos lead to positive test results for marijuana in newborns. Products included shampoo manufactured by Johnson & Johnson, which despite the tests, do not contain marijuana. So please don't try to smoke Johnson & Johnson "No More Tears" Shampoo, Ozzy Osbourne, even if you did have a mega-hit with a song by that name!

This raises the question if these products may lead to false positives in innocent-law-abiding-baby-faced adults. If so, this development could be bad news for any clean-living-baby-shampoo-users attempting to comply with a mandatory drug test as part of their employment at the local Partnership For A Drug Free America Hair Salon!

Sorry, leery of clicking the link from a newbie that looks a tad like one's I receive in scam emails.

2. Wp.me = Wordpress short link

Not a news agency, by the way, more of a mocking the news non-agency, given this is an offbeat section.

I would describe it as weird news that is also being made light of. I could have posted it in humor, but it is also just such a weird news story, people who demand weird news may want to know that J&J Shampoo is causing newborns to test positive for drugs. I could have also just posted the original Time Magazine story, but that is hyperlinked in the link or can be found by a search on time.com if you dont like links, and I was trying to post something more creative than just the weird news story.

Some might say that weird news should be 100% weird news with no attempts at humor, but there is no 5% weird news 80% humor section on this site. (figures do not add up to 100 due to rounding). Further politely mocking weird news is sort of why you want to read weird news in the first place, isn't it?

4. I think the best weird news has an element of humor in it, myself.

But that's just my opinion!
