South Texas man breaks leg and is arrested again for trying to have sex with a horse

A South Texas man with a history of having sex with horses broke his leg while attempting to perform another sexual act on a horse in February.

Cirilo Castillo Jr., 45, was found injured in a barn in Edinburg at around 7 a.m. on Feb. 17 when the barn's owner fed her horses, according to a Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office news release.

Castillo, who had previously been warned to stay away from the barn following a prior arrest for having sex with the woman's horses, told the woman and investigators that he had been hit by a car and crawled to the barn for shelter.

Investigators believe the horse kicked Castillo, causing the injury.
