Wild Barack Obama-Hurricane Sandy-Jay-Z Story

Luca Currado, the owner of the Vietti winery in Castiglione Falletto, Italy, was in New York during Hurricane Sandy. Because of the storm, he wound up with friends at the home of Jay-Z and Beyonce. He invited the rapper to visit him in Castiglione Falletto whenever he was in Italy. After successfully campaigning for Barack Obama, Jay-Z took Currado up on his offer. He jetted to Milan and traveled to the Langa for some well deserved wine and truffles. His itinerary, in addition to dining at the Vietti winery, included a tour of the Gaja winery in Barbaresco and dinner with Roberto Conterno at Relais San Maurizio in Santo Stefano Belbo.
