Get out the vote!
These polls I am seeing scare the hell out of me. This election, unbelievably, looks like it will be close. And the Republicans are good at stealing elections. Please talk politics to family, friends, co-workers... even if it is uncomfortable. So many of the progressive policies we support so strongly will be history if we wind up with Romney and a Republican Congress. President Obama has made good on his promise for change. Let's reward him by keeping him in office for four more years! Let's go forward, not backward.

I am new to DU. I only found out about DU today, but I want to say that your absolute correct, Kath1. Reelecting President Obama is absolutely necessary for America to move forward not backward.
