The Obamas: Refusing to give in to the haters after years of threats and abuse

The most popular license in America now? A license to hate.

And one of the most popular targets is President Obama, the country’s first African American commander-in-chief.

It’s no secret that America’s first family has received an unprecedented number of threats over the past seven years.

But the fever pitch of hate and bile toward the president and his family have taken an even sharper tone thanks to the primordial swamp that is the current presidential campaign.

It’s impossible to utter a single word about the White House, the first family or the president without a blast from the fire hose of haterade.

1. They do show class and tolerance.

I have disagreed with the Obama administration at times, that being said they have high standards in all their conduct. In some ways this entire family was elected I wish them the peace and fulfillment they all so deserve.

2. The Obamas show an incredible sense of strength, civility, tact and diplomacy.

But please, Mr President dump the TPP for the sake of the 99% of Americans who deserve equality.

3. Look at the way they both handle criticism and hate. Now imagine Cruz or Drumpf on the

receiving end of something like that and how they would handle it.

I dare say they would harm the people who treated them that way, while the Obama's show what it is to be an adult.

4. How nice it's been to have this family representing my country.

I will really miss their presence in the White House.
Luckily, I fully expect for them to continue to do good things post-presidency.
But, still, I will miss them.
Intelligence, civility, sanity, dignity, courage (just imagine the number of death threats and hate mail they must get every day), integrity (no scandals in this administration! Unheard of) - class act all the way.

5. Both the Obamas (and the girls) are amazing.

President Obama is, however, beyond compare in being so obviously far more intelligent and cool under pressure compared with his vicious and vocal detractors. I'm sure this makes them all the crazier. Why else would they open themselves up to ridicule with increasingly baseless attacks, just because the president conducts himself as all of his predecessors have?

6. Not at all like George W

Who wipes his ass and his mouth with the American flag. Just a reminder that we don't want a Republican in the White House especially since there are lots of flags hanging on the walls.
