Our household is now PC free and I'm doing a big fat happy dance.

I don't post much anymore but I just wanted to shout from the rooftops. I'm using my new iMac and it is so freaking wonderful, I can't stand it! This is the most elegant, intuitive, amazing tool I have ever laid my hands on. We've had our iPad 2s for almost a year and wanted to get used to the products before taking the plunge and ditching the old PC laptop. Partner just a couple of days ago got herself an iPhone 4S. I've had my iPhone 4 for almost a year. We are hooked. Why did I wait so long? Worth every freaking penny.

Thanks for letting me share.

and has the annoying habit of automatically updating just when I need to get something done in a hurry.

The Mac explains what the updates are and asks if and when I want them. Macs are just more polite.
