Flash-free in Safari.

Is delightful.

I have @#%&*$@ Chrome installed, with its built-in Flash, in case I am accessing a Flash video I absolutely need to view.

The SSD in my three-year old 17-Inch MBP is extra-snappy.

1. Why not use Camino instead?

You're quite clear on your pan-anti-Google-ness, Camino is lightweight, supports Flash just as well and is 100% Google-free if you change the search engine.

2. Flash

I wouldn't be overly concerned about flash IMHO- it's dying a slow death as many Web devs reaslise that it's not very SEO friendly. I use a unibody Macbook Pro with Firefox and Safari, but hate Chrome (even though I have it in the dock) as it's "quirky" and results it throws up in SERPs appear rather different to other browsers.
