My Macbook Pro suddenly got a screensaver?

i set it to always go to sleep, and suddenly, my iTunes closed and then 3 minutes later a screensaver of flying rectangles began. Anyone have any idea what may have happened?

But I don't leave iTunes running, I shut everything off so it won't blip on by accident. I don't know that I should, it seemed like it'd get going if I looped a playlist. Instead I've looped things like this that I downloaded as mp3s when it was okay to do that. Don't know if it is anymore:
