Introducing Discussionist: A new forum by the creators of DU

Wed Aug 1, 2012, 03:47 PM

AT&T has been caught steering customers to Spamdroids and Windoze phones.

Apparently, they are trying to avoid complaints when people buy the 4S this month, only to be 'surprised' next month when the new iPhone launches.

Most sources agree on a launch between September 12th and 22nd. With heavy odds on the 12th.

1. Seems understandable to me... I'm still happy with my Iphone 4, though eligible in November...

So, I'll let the early adopters find the bugs first...

2. We bought a 4S for SparklyJr from Verizon in mid June.

The salesman turned himself inside out trying to sell us anything but the iPhone.

It kinda pissed us off. He was really obnoxious about it.
