Problem receiving email from one customer.

I use Entourage for my email and have no problems with it. It works fine for me.

Recently, I've been having trouble receiving emails from one of my customers (she uses Yahoo, I believe).

I've had to set up a Gmail account just to get her emails. This is a clunky arrangement and Gmail is exceedingly slow (it can take hours to get an email).

Where does this problem originate? My end or hers? I think it is on her end, but I don't have a clue as to how to fix it.

I'm on a iMac, 10.4.11 (I know, I know --- I should upgrade, but as Ann Landers used to say "if it ain't broke..."

1. Is it possible her emails are being filtered as spam ?

Why did you create a gmail account instead of a yahoo one in the mean time ?

2. Because I already had a personal Gmail account and created a second one just for her.

Why? Do you think that a Yahoo account would be better in receiving her mail?

3. If she's sending her mail from yahoo, yes. Yahoo to yahoo email shoud be very quick,

4. That probably would work, but

I want ALL my mail in the same place (i.e. Entourage).

It is a major pain in the neck to keep switching back and forth, just to see if this woman has sent me an email.

Why won't her emails come into Entourage? That is the question.

5. Well...

The #1 reasons email disappears these days is spam filters.

Is it possible her email is being filtered out by a spam filter at your provider?

Is spam filtered email saved somewhere you can look ?
