iPad help, please

I just downloaded the iOS 8.1, but it didn't install. Now instead of showing my wireless thing up in the corner, it just says searching, so even though I can get on the Internet, i don't know if I'm actually connected to our wireless network.

I guess what I'm asking is how do I get this thing to install?

1. Coo to via iTunes and restore.

Also ask in the DU Mac group.

It's good to back up phone or iPad before updates, if you haven't done that and all else fails, you Shoul be able to restore all to factory settings but it all should be done through iTunes on your laptop or desktop.

I had to update my iTunes, which I hadn't done in a while, but now it's working fine. I didn't lose anything. I really appreciate your help.

7. Yay! I updated last night, too. I hate that they change the display appearance of iTunes, tho.

I don't use iTunes often, but when I go back and the classic view is gone (because I updated iTunes) and I have to take extra time to learn how to get it back, that's frustrating.
