Paul Ryan failed to carry his own precinct for Veep or Congress.

News, I have been waiting for.. Paul Ryan is not even liked by his very own neighbors.. He failed to carry his own voting precinct at teh Janesville Hedberg voting precinct. Even in his race for the hometown congress member he was skunked- 41% to 58 % for his Democratic opponent. Rob Zerban.. Meanwhile Ryan blames his loss on Urban America. Janesville's population. 63, 575 so says the Janesville city website. Hardly Urban America..

Paul Ryan's Wisconsin neighbors supported his opponents
In the closing days of his vice-presidential run, Paul D. Ryan sought to connect with voters in small- and medium-sized towns across Ohio by repeatedly telling them how much their community had in common with his own hometown of Janesville, Wis.
..
But in Janesville proper, Ryan fared only a little better in his congressional run than he did in the vice presidential one. Zerban grabbed 54% of the Janesville vote to 44% for Ryan. And at the Hedberg library polling spot, Ryan was the choice of just 41% of voters to 58% for Zerban.

as ryan appears to be boner's 'surrogate' in 'cliff' matters now (last I read.) Zerban and Wayne Powell (challenged eric cantor) really should have won their districts, removing 2 damaging repugs.

It is asking a lot.. Protecting Paul Ryan was a top priority of Scott Walker.

Too bad the rest of Wisconsin didn't educate themselves as well as his hometown electorate did.

Although I'm late to the party, I should point out that congressmen (especially newbies like Ryan) don't usually get much of their home-state vote unless they're rock stars.
