Relieved about Obama, overjoyed about Tammy, petrified for Wisconsin
We helped to stop the sale of the federal government to the fascists and corporatists, but we are absolutely fucked within Wisconsin with the loss of the State Senate. Health care, insurance, education (yes, there's always more to cut), election law, public record laws, environmental protection - every facet of Wisconsin, everything we love about our state is facing extinction. Put on your seat belt and hold on for dear life. Walker and his gang are going to take us on a very turbulent ride into hell.

... putting Scooter behind bars is our last recourse.
Can't believe Glenn Grothman won over here with 70% of the vote. What's wrong with the women here? |

Won't be any better after Walker is thrown into prison. She's on a mission to ensure that people don't realize their right to marry the table or the alarm clock!

Yeah, but Scooter being in jail would discredit the R's as a whole, tie them up in the court of public opinion and help slow their evil plan.

5. Occupy what?
|
Occupy the Capitol, where over 90 citations have been issued since September - simply for holding a piece of paper, singing a song or waving a flag?

She has been working, researching, writing on many issues. She's the one who, as chair of her short-lived committee, welcomed us to the table to discuss election integrity issues

16. I second that

If she starts building an organization now, she can win, IMHO. I really liked her in the recall primary, but she was just too unknown to get ahead in the short time available.

17. she's been continuing
|
to issue her weekly (?) statements on the issues. She had the balls to hold the public hearing on election integrity, because she had been LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE OF WISCONSIN, and wanted to learn more.
I sure wish she could have kept that committee through last night's election. |

What is wrong with this state? It is time to start following Walker and his minions around the state to protest since they won't allow us our right to assemble here. Occupy his meetings and photo ops.

We had a great local candidate with super name recognition and the fuckwit incumbent puke won with a sickening margin.
They fucked us over with negative job growth. They fucked us over on the trains/Talgo. They fucked us over on election laws. They are fucking us over on Obamacare/Medicaid/Badgercare cuts. They fucked over our education system and will do it again. Yet the people of this state think we need to keep having these fuckers in charge. If my sons weren't grown and graduating college this year, I'd be packing up an moving to a state where they would have a better chance. As it is, voters in this fucked up state have 4 years to get their heads out of their asses before my grandson starts school. In a way, I'm hoping they do their worst and get it over with. If schools start to close and more jobs disappear, maybe we can get back to something more sane that much more quickly. |

And that is an understatement. Everything about this is bad. Walker will be trying to build on his "rock star" status for 2016 at the expense of Wisconsin. There is no recall hanging over Walker or Republican legislators, no election looming, and no doubt there are elements of revenge and making up for lost time. Shouting "shame. shame..." at the Republicans as they ram through their hateful, destructive, ALEC written legislation and executive orders didn't work last time and won't work now. We're fucked alright. |

15. this is the "R's" reward for getting to draw the map
|
when you get to choose your voters before the voters get to choose you, this is the kind of result you can expect. We need to have fair redistricting in all states.
