Wisconsin Vote Allocation

I'm very embarrassed to ask this at this point in the game, but in this election, is it one person one vote or is the victor determined by district totals? Meaning if I live in a puke district, does my vote become meaningless? I voted and do vote no matter what, but I live in the Republic of Republica.
