from my email...
CNN is reporting that the Koch Brothers have dropped 70 staffers in our state "to celebrate" what Walker has "accomplished and show that Wisconsin is ready for more."
Ready for more? Walker's ideological civil war has already devastated public education, stripped workers of their rights, repealed Equal Pay enforcement, raised taxes on working families and led the nation in job loss.
While Wisconsin workers and families continue to struggle, Walker and his allies are "celebrating" their "divide and conquer" strategy that has succeeded in ripping our state apart.
Are we going to let the Koch Brothers steal this election or are we going to fight back? Respond now by rushing an urgent contribution of $5 or more before Tom Barrett's critical fundraising deadline at midnight
I'm so sick of these asshole Koch brothers I could spit. Please help fight against these tyrants.

(2,577 posts)People of Wisconsin ... Turn away from the bad TV ads and listen to your neighbors ... the teachers, firefighters, and public workers who are under attack. Don't listen to a bunch of paid Koch Brothers flunkies. They don't care about the people or resources of Wisconsin. They are all about profits ... for the Koch Brothers.

(2,062 posts)I am not a Wisconsin citizen, but have been interested in the situation happening there. My question, and I hope to get feedback, is the recall working?, will Walker be replaced or has this movement fallen on deaf ears. Will the Democrats have a good replacement for Walker?
How many Wisconsinites are really interested in this recall? thanks

(53,475 posts)... there were 930,000 who signed petitions to recall Walker. There are a similar number of people who support him.
Whether he is recalled or not depends on election day turnout. Our side has 35,000 Recall Walker volunteers working to get out the vote. His side has nada, ergo the Koch brothers lame attempt to get their base out.
Don't forget, there are four State Senate seats up for grabs also. If the Dems win just one, they gain control of the Senate.
Well good luck Wisconsin. I'm with you on this
