Budget crisis over! DOJ giving bonuses to state workers! Yeah!!!

Well, bonuses for some state workers, anyway. I guess the checks haven't arrived where I work, yet.

While Governor Walker's spokesperson, Cullen Werwie avoided comment on Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen's decision to dole out merit pay, Werwie said considerations for bonuses are on hold for thousands of other state workers....

...Among those receiving a Discretionary Merit Compensation Award (DMC) was Deputy Attorney General Kevin St. John. St. John successfully argued the state's collecting bargaining case last year before the Wisconsin Supreme Court....

..."We're happy to reward people who do outstanding work."

And there are some pissed off state employees in the comment section!

1. There's a pissed off state employee right here

I'm taking home less today than I did 8 years ago.

And I do "outstanding work," too.
