100,000 pro-union protesters were shipped into Wisconsin, Scott Walker says

Pitching his qualifications for president, Gov. Scott Walker often cites how he faced 100,000 protesters who fought unsuccessfully to stop Act 10, the 2011 collective bargaining reform law that led to his historic recall election.

But sometimes the Wisconsin Republican goes further -- suggesting that the throngs of pro-union demonstrators had been imported.

That's what happened July 27, 2015, when Fox News talk show host Neil Cavuto asked Walker what he thought about a commentary by syndicated Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank.

In the column, Milbank said Walker has a "technique of scapegoating unions for the nation’s ills" that is similar to techniques of the late Joe McCarthy, the Communist-hunting U.S. senator from Wisconsin....................

"I'm a pathological liar! What other governor can say that!"

On this biggest day of the protests, I'd estimate 125,000 to 150,000 Wisconsin protesters and maybe 2,500 to 7,500 who came from out of state to show their solidarity.

One of the huge ones when the legislators returned from hiding; Jesse Jackson, Susan Sarandon, Tony Shalhoub and others were there. At least 100,000 and we were running into our neighbors from 100 miles away from Madison. My SIL and her family were 20 yards from us listening to the speakers for two hours and we didn't know it! We were there for several smaller protests (10,000 and 2,000 or 3,000); the one where the farmers drove in on their tractors, one where the teamsters had their beautiful rigs parked around the capitol, and one in the evening with the firefighters in their gear. They had the names of their departments on their Jackets and helmets. These were Wisconsin people, not ringers.

I did meet a man and his daughter at a noon sing along that I went to with my 80 something y/o aunt. He was a school teacher from New Jersey who drove all the way here to support what we were doing. He brought his high school daughter with him to "experience history, no matter how it turned out." We went and had pizza together at Ian's Pizza and had a great time!

Walker is an extremely dangerous, fucking pathological liar. The lies just roll of his tongue.
