Sen. Darling & Rep. Nygren need stop the bully name-calling & learn to negotiate like adults!

Darling and Nygren are clearly behaving as bullies with the name-calling and referencing the past Chancellor of UWM!!. Reminds me of Walker--always blaming Doyle for all his problems!!

As the article explains the situation is very different.

Blank is playing ‘Washington politics,’ key legislators say

University of Wisconsin-Madison Chancellor Rebecca Blank is “bringing Washington politics to Madison,” the co-chairs of the state’s budget-writing Joint Committee on Finance said Wednesday.

............Blank was acting secretary of commerce in the Obama administration before accepting the UW-Madison chancellor's job in 2013. She has advised presidents from both political parties, serving as a member of the President's Council of Economic Advisers for George H.W. Bush and for Bill Clinton. Blank responded with a statement of her own.

"Our recent conversations with legislators have been positive and we understand the pressures they are facing. As I have stated in the past, flexibilities offered through a public authority model are welcome and would eventually allow the System to function more effectively.

"However, we continue to be concerned about the impact of a proposed $300 million cut."

Blank concluded: "We look forward to working with legislators throughout the budget process to reduce the impacts on the university."..............

They cannot justify their policy positions. They cannot make credible arguments. They got nothing.
