Oh, getting Grothman is beyond my wildest dreams. But, as I posted earlier, my own polling place in rural Chippy Waffles was overflowing already at 9 am or so. We're sufficiently liberal to have been Gerrymandered out of Obey's old 7th to make it safe for the likes of Sean Duffy.

Fox Valley is pretty "red" so I don't know if a high turnout is good or not...

the fired-up wingnuts come out in force every election & the less-likely voters, i.e. the ones who would kick the rate from (say) 60% up to the predicted 85% are more likely to vote Dem. If someone didn't come out to vote for Walker during the recall, they're not likely to be voting for him & Glen Grotesque now. The Fox Valley will no doubt remain red, but likely not so heavily. This means the Dems should fare better in the statewide races. High turnouts elsewhere in the state could make for some interesting surprises. It was high turnout that carrie WI for Obama both times, and low turnout that kicked our asses in 2010.

The talk-radio wingnuts are out in force today.

In suburbia where I live the polls were overflowing, and that's definitely NOT a good thing if we're hoping for a Burke win.
