Lori Compas to challenge Scott Fitzgerald for District 13 Senate seat
http://dane101.com/current/2012/02/24/lori_compas_to_challenge_scott_fitzgerald_for_district_13_senate_seatFort Atkinson resident Lori Compas will challenge Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald in a recall election for his seat if and when the Government Accountability Board certifies the results of that campaign.
According to sources close to event, who spoke with dane101 earlier this week, the official announcement will happen on Tuesday in the town of Jefferson.
Compas was the lone individual who originally filed the paperwork necessary to start the recall effort against the longtime incumbent senator, and who helped head up the eventually successful campaign to gather over 20,000 signatures.
