Sekiu's known more for salmon fishing which it sounds like that's what the guy was originally after. He probably thought what the hey after several squid were hitting his lines.

Interesting what by catch you can come up with. I caught a Dungeness crab with my pole once while bottom fishing. Must have been an overpopulation of crabs that year because they kept hitting our lines.
