Ever since I announced my candidacy for Senate last April, I’ve been traveling all across the Commonwealth to hear Virginians’ concerns and share ideas about how we can strengthen our economy. And no matter where I am, or who I am talking to -- whether it’s seniors in Henrico, women in Midlothian, or small business owners in Culpeper -- folks tell me that we need more people in Washington who will put cooperation and problem-solving over partisan posturing.
That’s why I’m so glad to endorse my friend Wayne Powell for Congress in Virginia's 7th District. Wayne has the vision, passion, and bipartisan approach required to help move our Commonwealth and our country forward.
Join me in supporting Wayne Powell’s campaign for Congress -- make a contribution of $5 or more today.
Wayne is the embodiment of the hard-working folks who live in the 7th District. He grew up in Church Hill, attending Richmond City public schools. As a 30-year Army veteran, small business owner, and community lawyer, Wayne has a background of leadership that tells you he knows how to work together to get things done.
Wayne is dedicated to the fundamental principles of economic fairness and social justice, and will work to find common ground in Washington to put people over politics and deliver results for the people of the Seventh District. He has a true calling to service, and I am proud to support his campaign.
But no endorsement is more crucial than the endorsement of individual Virginians like you. To get Wayne to Congress, he’ll need to overcome outside spending from the other side with a powerful showing of grassroots support.
Make a contribution of $5 or more to help send a proven problem solver to Congress.
Thank you for supporting Wayne. Together, we’ll help elect someone who will work with me in Congress and focus on solving tomorrow’s challenges -- not refighting the partisan battles of the past.
