Some interesting articles on VA's 7th (Cantor)

http://www.the-richmonder.com/2012/05/virginia-voters-overwhelmingly-reject.html

Just 27% of Virginians have a favorable opinion of Cantor. Across demographic groups, Eric Cantor has alienated Virginia voters.

Eric Cantor’s unpopularity in Virginia is gender blind: Only 28% of men and 27% of women have a favorable opinion of Cantor

Across age groups, Cantor’s unpopularity holds constant. Just 25% of young voters have a favorable opinion of Cantor, and only 30% of voters older than 65 like Cantor.

Only 16% of moderate voters have a favorable impression of Eric Cantor, and 51% of moderates have an unfavorable impression.

Independent voters disapprove of Cantor by 49% unfavorable to 28% favorable.

Interesting news, especially in light of the fact that, as far as I know, the DCCC is apparently indifferent to supporting Wayne Powell and taking Cantor down. Not sure that the race between Obama and Romney won't tighten up closer to the end (it all depends on whether we get our base out), but I'm beginning to think the Dems seem likely to take back the House:

2. Maybe.

They are slightly dated now, but there is a real possibility that Cantor can be defeated this year. It's a shock to me and I actually live in his freaking district. This district needs a little national attention considering the power Cantor has and the lives he continues to fight to destroy.

I did a larger write up about it and posted here:

So far it's not garnered much attention, but it is a big Romney weekend as well. If I don't see any traction this week I'll update it and repost next weekend at a better time.

3. Great work you've done again here, obxhead,

and will be KICKING!!!

'Take back the House' would be HUGE, and a very large task. Sounds like a couple possibilities in Virginia (this one, and the one DCCC is overtly supporting, among others) but surely necessary for sanity.
