1. It's so beautiful there.

Too many people just don't realize how beautiful our state is, and in so many different areas

Are these your photos? If not, an excellent source for images is the magazine Texas Highways. And if they are, great job!

2. Yes, it is beautiful

that's why I started putting up State Park threads. So far I have just been using stuff from the State Parks Websites. Each state Park has their own website. I started with the ones around me in Cleburne.

And you could probably cross-post these to the Lounge. I suspect many are taking off the whole week, as it seems more active for the daytime right now.

Beautiful post and picture. Lots of memories of the area..Take a trip up during summer and see the Play Texas at Palo Duro SP. Stop in the Canyon West Texas Musuem and Texas Tech musuem and Heritage Musuem.
