10-1? 8-2-1? How do Austin DUers feel about the single member district propositions?

Personally, I've decided that I'm cool with the city being run by Central Austin elitists so I'm voting to keep our current City Council system. How do y'all feel about it?

1. I agree

I believe single districting will make it even harder to grab attention in a city with so many competing interests.

While I have you, any thoughts about the AISD elections? Places 5 & 8 seem to be a referendum on Carstarphen.

2. I have to confess that I really don't understand AISD politics

Early on, the progressive mafia gave their blessing to Gina Hinojosa, which explains the presence of her sign in my yard, but that's about all I know. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable (or failing that, simply more fervent) can add their comments.
