1 in 5 TX voters have already voted

By close of polls on Friday, 19% of registered voters in TX have. Voted. By today we have easily exceeded 20%. I'm willing to bet we exceeded 25% based on lines I heard about and extra polling places.

At this rate...wonder how many Texas voters will have voted prior to Nov. 8th....

I'm hearing awesome rumblings of Texas turning blue, but so far on 538, it still has a pretty good red hue to it and his predictions are low for dems.

I wish we had demographics and/or votes but this is all the SoS reports. Keep in mind that 538 factors in the weight of history so they're unlikely to predict a close upset in Texas.

slim and none with none on the inside track.
Hope I'm wrong.
What really needs to happen is that the republican-controlled state government needs to go Democratic. I don't see that happening either. At least not any time soon. Abbott, paxton, and patrick are the three stupids.......er, stooges. My apologies to Larry, Moe, and Curly.

You may be right about this not being the year that Texas Democrats sweep the R's out of the Governor's Mansion and the state judiciary, but this could well be the year that Texas Rethuglies get a glimpse of the dangers of a RINO-free Texas Savannah can pose to members of Club Pachyderm.

Hordes of stampeding donkeys?

Unpleasant Dreams!

After I voted straight Dem, the only other contested elections were a few local judges and city council. Republicans who are less than enthusiastic for Trump could easily stay home. My prayer.
