Central and North Texans check in thread

Here in north Brazos county, the rain totals for 24 hours is 2.8", with most of that occurring after 10PM. We got a big blow around 2AM with lots of hard rain and wind. Right now at 6AM there are gusts of wind, high humidity. It looks like this area is once again living a charmed life.

in Austin.

It looked pretty strong in the areas where it did track.

We got rain; just not torrential, unrelenting rain.

we got the brunt of the storm yesterday and it rained from 3 p.m. until past midnight, but the rain total was only 1.11 inches. The winds were gusting towards 50 mph.

I went to the store a few minutes ago and somebody told me that they closed US 59 near Ganado due to the flooding in that area. I also checked the radar a few minutes ago and it looks like a tornado formed north of Rockport and there are heavy showers stretching from George West over to Refugio so we will be getting more storms from the west this evening.
