Abbott Plan Stands on the Out Dated and Hated, No Child Left Behind Excessive Testing System

of Jeb and GW Bush Insults to Texas School Children, Families and Community Local School Districts.

Texas Legislature has said no the excessive testing. Is a reversal coming from the TEA Party Legislature beginning in a few days?

Abbott said he wants to improve the educational foundation that students receive in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. "I want to ensure that all children finish the third grade reading and doing math at or above grade level," he said.

Now with a decline in the price of oil, could it be that education funding will be at the bottom of state funding? Even more cuts than the 2011 Legislature made? How are all those road projects going to get done as promised by GOP candidates? More bonds to be owned by foreigners?

In my opinion, Texas is the joke of the nation, allowing corruption to continue and get worse.
