he knows that he is being untruthful and after Wendy Davis called him out on his lies during the debate. I should have not been surprised to see that he would not have pulled this Ad, after being exposed, during the debates, for the liar that he really is.

I saw this Ad during the noon coverage of the Ebola case on ABC, Channel 8, Dallas-Fort Worth. Lots of people were watching. It really bothered me that a lawmaker in office would de- characterize another person, a colleague.

I saw the ad and wondered about it. Not that I believe it, just wondering what the ad is about.

2. Abbott brought ethics charges against a Texas Senator for voting on bills. Hopefully many

others cannot tie the ad with the charge other than to imply that she is in the Senator to help herself privately. Wendy Davis's campaign is about helping hard working Texans and their families. In my opinion, Abbott defames Davis's character every time this ad that he endorsed, is shown.

In the race to replace Rick Perry, ethics allegations are flying. Defining Greg Abbott as a political insider whose work has consistently favored other insiders over average Texans has been a central piece of Davis’ campaign. From siding against victims of sexual assault on four separate occasions to safeguarding evidence of mismanagement at the Texas Enterprise Fund, Abbott’s record has constantly been under attack by the Davis campaign.

Abbott has attempted to deflect these accusations by attacking with some of this own. Specifically, by pushing the idea that Davis is currently under investigation by the FBI. Texans for Greg Abbott’s Defeat Davis website brags about the billboards they have placed around Texas driving this message home. Unfortunately for Abbott, the FBI has no documents from the Wendy Davis trial, and his heavy hitter holds no water.

As the Texas Tribune reports, the agency that was looking into these ethics accusations never sent anything to the FBI, because they never found any evidence of an issue that should be sent up the chain. Abbott’s argument is actually just a recycled attack from Davis’ 2012 Senate race. The ethics investigation was the result of a complaint filed by her opponent from two years ago. When it comes to attempting to bring down Davis, Abbott isn’t even original in his attacks.
