1. Not sure this is the best use of their money

2. Yes but their money is being directed in two worthwhile ways:

"“The group will dismiss Gov. Tom Corbett as an extremist on climate change,” they said. “It will target low-income voters affected by pollution in the state and voters in Philadelphia who didn’t vote in 2010.”

That is an excellent use of money—raising awareness and getting out the vote.

And maybe being prominently associated with a sure-thing victory is a good thing for a organization trying to heighten its profile.

4. Might even swing the state House of Reps back to Democratic majority

Long pro-Wolf, anti-Corbet coat tails, so to speak, if voters select the straight Democratic party choice.
Currently the House's 203 members are split, 111 Republicans; 92 Democrats. If the Dems could add 10 seats, the majority would swing to 102 Dems-101 GOP. Well, I can dream, can't I?
