Corbett's Spokesman keeps posting on blogs

First, Dennis Roddy has a questionable history of printing favorable stories about Corbett in the Post-Gazette as a reporter, right before he was hired to be Corbett's state employee spokesman. Reportedly, Roddy often was the recipient of leaks from Corbett while he was a reporter.

For the past couple years, Roddy has been making a habit of posting on political and newspaper blogs, particularly in Pittsburgh. He often uses the Facebook name Donncha O Rodochain, and occasionally includes his real name. By the way, it is a severe violation of Facebook rules to not use your real name. He also has posted on this PA. message board in the past.

For instance, on the Inquirer site:

Donncha O Rodochain · Top Commenter
So, comments and direct quotes from every available Democratic opponent, but not even a single line from Corbett's speech? But everybody knows the media isn't biased.

I had suspicions about Donncha. I am so over facebook-linked comments in media, cannot believe what heaps of bigotry and misinformation is allowed. PPG had an article in the "Pipeline" series on fracking today about how fracking is the reason for lowered teen pregnancy rates in ND.

The headline used fallacy of cause and effect, as if jobs from fracking brought such prosperity to the region that girls began to make choices associated with more affluent levels of society. Upon re-reading, it's oil drilling, not fracking for natural gas, anyway. Also, in this case, the facebook-linked comments are way smarter than the article. Just triggered my growing irritation over true journalism becoming extinct. I keep the Post-Gazette as my homepage for local news, but I pretty much just scan their stories, then search online for the underlying facts.
