1. So is corruption inane or a matter of circumstance?

2. Hmm.

"Several of Gibson's fellow officers voiced suspicions last fall that Gibson, 43, a narcotics officer, was stealing clothing, sneakers, and jewelry from the homes of suspected drug dealers during raids and warrant executions, Ramsey and police sources have said."

It seems awfully strange that no one in the family noticed that all of this was going on.

3. I'm going with innocent until proven guilty on this one.

Could be some kind of set-up, a distraction. Something's fishy to me, and we have bigger fish to fry anyway.

4. Since they are separated it could be a set up.

She could use it against him in a possible divorce. I wonder if they have kids. It would be the perfect way to sabotage his attempts for custody. Now I'm heading into conspiracy territory . . . without facts for support.

I agree, there are bigger concerns for the Commonwealth.

5. I believe it's part of the bigger story on how deep corruption runs in the Corbett cabal.

All of the smaller fish lead to the big fish.

6. Bigger scandal erupting about Phila. narcotics officers

Apparently a number of Phila. narcotics officers are about to face charges, including one who is trying to open his own publicly funded charter school. I guess that guy knows where the best scams can be run.

7. Whew.

It's not right that they've been getting away with their misconduct.

Philly cops, Pittsburgh cops...what the heck is going on?
