"Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson wasted no time in saying no to a request by opponents of the state's voter ID law for an injunction ordering the state to be clearer about photo ID not being required to vote in Tuesday's election...

Witold Walczak, legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania - one of the groups that challenged the law in court - said Simpson's order comes as no surprise.

“The handwriting was on the wall the minute the court gave the other side eleven days to answer an emergency petition that required immediate relief,” Walczak said."
