PA. Voter ID Decision Based Upon 1869 Decision That Made it Harder for Philadelphians to Vote

Isn't this appropriate. The Commonwealth Court (appeals court) decision that upheld the PA. Voter ID Law a couple months ago was partially based upon a 1869 PA. court decision. The current judge happened to omit the nasty parts of that bigoted case in his recent decision.

The 1869 decision upheld a state law that made it harder for people from Philadelphia to register to vote, compared to people living in the rest of PA. It also made it much harder for people living in boarding houses to register to vote. At the time, many lower income people lived in boarding houses.
