State judge upholds Gov. Cuomo's gun control law

A state judge has rejected a lawsuit against Gov. Cuomo’s SAFE Act gun control law, declaring that the measure does not violate either the New York State or U.S. Constitution.

State Supreme Court Judge Thomas McNamara ruled that the plaintiffs – a group led by constitutional activist Robert Schultz – failed to demonstrate how the SAFE act “infringes on their rights.”
