One World Trade Center to light up in a rainbow

In recognition of the the Supreme Court decision to legalize same-sex marriage in the country and New York City Pride Week, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said today he has directed that the lights on One World Trade Center’s 408-foot spire to shine in a rainbow on Sunday night.

In one of his top accomplishments as governor, Cuomo pressed the state Legislature in 2011 to legalize same-sex marriage, making New York the largest state in the nation to do so and leading other states to follow suit.

2. It'll look great - I wondered

why I couldn't see the rainbow colors now (I can see 1 WTC from my apt) but it's scheduled for Sunday. The Empire State Bldg. got an update a year or so ago and they can do much more inventive things with color now but I didn't know they could do anything like this with 1 WTC.
