If you're worried about the threat of Ebola, state officials say, stay calm and roll up your sleeves -- both to wash your hands and to get your flu shot.
Gov. Cuomo and acting state Health Commissioner Howard Zucker on Thursday urged New Yorkers not to trip out about the deadly virus, but to take basic precautions regarding cleanliness and vaccination.
"The symptoms of any viral illness always begin the same, and because of the heightened level of concern, [it] would be best to remove that as a possibility, as a question," Zucker said at a press briefing at Cuomo's Manhattan offices.
"We do have supplies for the flu, and we'd like to get 100% vaccination."
