I just got a robo-call by Pat Boone for Todd Akin.

Listening to it (which was ALL I could stomach!), I noticed that it wasn't paid for by Akin, but I didn't catch who was paying for it.

He just keeps going down from his high when I was a small kid. A good Christian who had affairs and took drugs. He could have done good by helping people who also took drugs, but instead has taken the hard republican line. The downward spiral came when my father gave me the Pat Boone book, that he obviously didn't write telling me how to be a teen age girl - duh, no you don't!!! Followed by hearing the originals of the songs he covered - so much better. and down and down. Unlike some celebrities who live their live well, helping others and do not get much credit or praise.

If you want to be a good christian, how about trying to be Christ like? Not force me to be so.

Your daughters should smack you upside the head.
