Bernie is (on edit: WAS) going to be at Capri Theater, N. Minneapolis, on Friday sometime

Last edited Thu Feb 11, 2016, 11:32 PM - Edit history (4)

for a forum on Black America. Seating is limited, ticket information is not available. Even the time of day is not available.

I've done extensive Googling and found nothing more.

Does anybody know anything more about Bernie's visit? Will there be any rallies somewhere for the general public? Or is he just "in and back out" for this forum event?

Thanks

Mpls. Black America forum moved to meet Sanders crowd, MPRNews, 211p 2/11/16
. . (excerpts and snips) . .
The Neighborhoods Organizing for Change forum ( http://www.mnnoc.org/tickets ) will focus on questions of race, economic investment and equity.

Free tickets will be available at NOC’s office at 1101 West Broadway Avenue in Minneapolis starting at 4 p.m. on Thursday.

Only about 1,200 people will be able to fit into the event at Minneapolis Patrick Henry High School. It was originally going to be held at the Capri Theater on West Broadway Avenue, which could fit an audience of only about 400 people.

For those who can’t make it into the event, Newby said it will be streamed live online.

Neighborhoods Organizing for Change has not endorsed Sanders.

From: http://www.mnnoc.org/tickets as of 406 P.M. Thursday --

The forum will take place at Patrick Henry High School (note location change) on Friday, February 12. 4320 Newton Ave N, Minneapolis. Doors will open at 3PM.

This forum will be livestreamed. Livestream viewing parties will be held throughout the metro area and in Duluth for those who cannot or choose not to attend in person. More information about livestreaming and livestream parties will be available soon.

Nothing on where else Bernie Sanders will be, any rallies, or anything like that. (The forum is not in any way a Bernie Sanders rally event )
