Harvard Magazine: "Al Franken: You Can Call Me Senator"
A pretty nice article about “the second senator from Minnesota” in this month's Harvard Magazine:
"Last night, when we came up $50 million short, the Wilfs stepped in, in just a heroic way" - DLF Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton on 5/10/12 after he orchestrated a $450 MILLION giveaway to Wilf's Minnesota Vikings for a stadium, while the state continues to defund schools, roads and bridges.

2. .... Vice President Dick Cheney: “If you vote against the war in Iraq, the Bush administration will
do what is necessary to get you". and two weeks later Senator Wellstone was dead. I not saying anything....but yikes.

3. And, at the time, Wellstone was in a tight race against Bushco's handpicked stooge, Norm Coleman
and, after his vote against the war, he began to pull ahead of Normie.
I'm not saying anything either...
If we don't fight hard enough for the things we stand for, at some point we have to recognize that we don't really stand for them.--Paul Wellstone
