as often as possible, I do wonder: What's the trade-off? Where will the lost revenue be made up? The devil may be in that detail.

Also, being so far away from Minnesota, I have to ask the locals there, what are the names of the best brewers in the state, I'd like to keep that in mind should I decide to visit.

It's a big state, geographically.

If you're in Duluth up on the shores of Lake Superior, I can recommend Fitger's. My favorite MN brewery. If you're interested in the full details of how I realized I "love" beer, ask in a private message

In the twin cities, there is a plethora of options. My personal favorite of the new breweries is Dangerous Man, but Fulton, Lucid and Badger Hill are also good. For brew pubs...Barley John's or Town Hall/Town Hall Tap are my choices. Beer bars: RePublic or the Blue Nile (Ethiopian restaurant with a GREAT beer bar).

I'm a bit surprised that I've never even read about any of them before. Sounds like a road trip may have to come on the agenda in the next year or two!

in this case, I thought legislation had to balance out between revenues lost and other savings from other things in the bill. If they want to tax macrobrewers more to make up for it, I'm all for that, but it's my bet that Miller-Bud-Coors owns enough congresscritters to keep that from happening.
